Post card

This week I finished one of my activities for topic/literacy it was a post card to a soldier.

Hey its mum.We  have been very worried about you because we haven't got a letter back in a while. We found our ration book, it was behind the desk. We were living on practically nothing for a week.  The ration does not seem like enough for all of us. I really regret having 12 babies. We made anzac biscuits this morning. They aren't like the biscuits we used to make but they will do.  We heard that they will last a while so we are going to make another batch soon with the things we had before the war. Some of the people down the street have been robbed. The robbers always take the ration book and the food they already had. (Maybe it’s us…) Hope everything is well over there. Just make sure you watch out ok?

Love mum
P.S I’m not entirely sure which son I’m sending it to and where you are.. I really shouldn’t have had 12 kids!

Maths Maintenance

For one of our Maths rotations we have to complete Maths Maintenance. We do this during independent learning time and here is a copy of the ones I completed this week. I think they are fun!
