I chose this novel because i had already watched the movie and enjoyed it so I wanted to read the story instead of watch it this time.
It is set in a dystonia land where the government sends teenage boys into a maze with no knowledge of how to escape.
The main character is Thomas a teenage boy who cant remember anything about himself from before being in the elevator like contraption that sent him into the maze. His naive mind gets himself in a bit of trouble at first because he likes to explore his surroundings He is the protagonist of this story and throughout shows his bravery, loyalty and his quick/cleaver mind.
Teenage boys are beings sent into a maze with little to no memory of them or there lives before, The boys are sent one at a time once a month. There are boys there that have been there for 3 or more years. Thomas was sent into the "glade" a giant maze filled with obstacles and the unknown. The glade is the middle grass area of this maze that all the boys live in. When a girl shows up for the first time ever they begin to worry that escaping is going to become a
crucial part in survival, after this girl arrives unknown problems
start arising for the boys and they need to figure out how to handle
them.
