A guy moving into a new house gets a present he was not expecting a huge spider. The spider is a Brazilian salmon pink bird eater it is one of the worlds largest spiders. It was at the house in a box that had said "return to sender". The spider is known to be aggressive and have 2.5cm fangs and can shoot toxic barbed hairs from its body which can cause blindness.
The spider was meant for the old owner and it has been in the mail for about 3 weeks without being opened.
The spider was taken to a vet that said the spider was "very unwell" and "shows signs of dehydration".
The box had maid lots of hairs from the spiders belly to fall out the vet was surprised it lived.
Now named Sid, the spider is recovering at the north somerset reptile centrer.
