97 year old Margaret Thome Bekema Finally graduated high school. She had dropped out at 17 to help her family. She was heartbroken when she had to leave school to look after he 3 sibling because her mother became ill. A guy moving into a new house gets a present he was not expecting a huge spider. The spider is a Brazilian salmon pink bird eater it is one of the worlds largest spiders.  It was at the house in a box that had said "return to sender". The spider is known to be aggressive and have 2.5cm fangs and can shoot toxic barbed hairs from its body which can cause blindness.

The spider was meant for the old owner and it has been in the mail for about 3 weeks without being opened.

The spider was taken to a vet that said the spider was "very unwell" and "shows signs of dehydration". 

The box had maid lots of hairs from the spiders belly to fall out the vet was surprised it lived. 

Now named Sid, the spider is recovering at the north somerset reptile centrer.

Today I did KKN - Kiwi Kids News I got 80% The sport questions were a bit hard because one was about golf and I don't watch golf at all.

I think it is interesting about how the apple watch would not work if you have tattoos on your arms. Some customer are complaining a bit because when they bout the smart watch it did not work.

KKN Blue lobster found

There was a blue lobster found by a 14 year old girl in america. Meghan Laplante was on bored her dads bout when she opened a trap and there it was a blue lobster. Normally lobsters are very dark blue or greenish brown. Scientists reckon that the bright blue lobster come in every one in every 2 million.

Hitchhiking Robot

There is a hitchhiking robot that Is trying to get from Halifax, Nova Scotia to an art gallery in Victoria. Its name is hitchbot. The robot will be able to talk to the people that stop to give him some help. He will be able to talk with speech reconcilable software.
As you can see the robot has his thumb out pointing to the road.











On the KKN Quiz I got 40% correct that was not the best but that dose not matter.

Is Face Paint Safe -Kiwi Kids News

A test on children's face pain shows 90% of them have lead in them. Earlier  in the year the brand of carnival colors has been put of the market because of putting chemicals in the face paint. later shown they have not improved this because  chemicals are still being put in the face paint. The shops they have been found in are mostly 2$ shops that is were kids shop so it is more likely for them to get lead in them.

Where - The children were from Nelson victory school which is close to Tahunanui Beach, Nelson.

Why - It happened because a child stood on a wasp nest on the beach
