I sent a Email to Miss Panther showing her the origami swans and harts I made. I made the harts and put holes in it so that I can put string through the holes so I can hang it up  they look a bit like these.

Home learning - main star

I did most of my homework and I was on team time. Team Time is were the people that did their home learning and had good behavior got to do something fun eg movie, art, bored games and had a shared lunch with lots of food. I chose movie and we watched a movie and had popcorn. At the shared lunch we had a lot of different variate like sweet, fruit and savory.

The people that are not on team time have to do boring things eg cleaning up classrooms, Writing words out of the dictionaries and if it is at the end of the year then they have to sort out all the computers for the school. Team Time is at the end of each term so there are 4 a year.

For homework I did a bit of reading of my book for my 40bc and did maths games. We do our homework on the computer.  Once my dog actually ate my homework so I was not on team time.  I tried to tell the teacher but she thought it was joke.

St Johns in schools

Today St Johns came to our class and we learned what to do in an emergency. First you do ...

Danger - Look and see if there is any danger eg, oil, glass, fire
Response  - yell out to them and see if they are conscious 
Seek 4 help - Yell out loudly for help and find someone to call 111 NZ 000 AU  911 US
Airway - Lift head so their tong is not blocking them from breathing
Breathing - Cheek  their breathing they should breath at least 2 times pr 10s do this for 10s
CPR - only do this if the person is not breathing or it can disrupt their hart and could be really bad.

Also we practiced how to help if someone is beading really badly.  3 steps

1. Stop the beading with something soft but not fluffy
2. Bandage it up make sure it is tite so that it has pressure
3. Elevate the cut so that the blood stops pouring out

We had to look at a pic and see 11 things that are hazards this was hard and some of them were like a power line leaning near a tree. A car coming the other detection mite crash into the crashed cars.

The lady told us lots of story's of how people help out people and some that were people that did the wrong thing.

St Johns was fun and we learned heaps about how to help people in need.

This is my speech about sea life I was full of  nerves and I was scared.

own choice activity - Main Stars

This is the poppy I made in google draw and on each petal there is a fact about poppies. I chose this because it has only just been ANZAC day and I wanted to make a poppy.
If you can't read the facts hear they are:

1.  You wear poppies close to your heart to remember loved ones in the war 
2. Poppies grow in dry, warm places
3. Poppies grow in Flanders Field in Gallipoli
4. The red petals on a poppy represent the blood from the soldiers wounds   

Squash - Main star

I joined squash this term. I go every Monday and we practise our serving and our hits and sometimes play games. Squash is like tennis but inside and you only use one hand on the racket they also have small black balls.  My big brothers play squash and are really good. I like squash because it is inside and the games we play. One of the games are dodge ball against a wall and if you get hit you are in too the winner it the last person standing. we play in wood courts but some people play in glass courts. If you are under 18 you have to wear glasses so the small balls don't hurt you in the eye

Main Star - start something new at school

I want to start at school a drama club I sent a letter to my principal and she liked the idea. I want to start a drama club because drama is fun and I go to drama class. It will be for 6-8 year old at my school.

Campbook

I have finished my camp book to a high standard I have finished 7 of the pages. We get a badge if we finish 7 pages to a high standard i think i am going to get it. I finished them to a high standard here are some pics of the booklet they are a 3 finished pages.

   

   
   

Book Revue

The Worry Website is a book made in 2002 by Jaquline Wilson. Jaquline wilson has written lots of novels. The Worry Website is about five kids that have worries. Then they write on the worry website there worry without there name. The worries can be about anything the wole class can read the worries on the class computer. This book has lots of funny bits sad bits and sad bits. I like this book because it has not one main character it has lots in the worries.

5 Random acts of kindness

I have done 5 random acts of kindness

1. I do the milk at the end of the day and clean the fridge.
2. I delivered the milk to the classes and now I know were they like there milk to be placed 
3. I helpt 2 little boys that are new they were lost so I toke them bake to school and the office rang there parents. 
4. I made the garage door go down if it dose not shut after someone tries to shut it
5. I would help mum and do some work around the house                                                            

     Theys are my five random acts of kindness There are a lot more but I do no want to put them Thanks.

pacing for camp

For a Main Star we had to pack for camp I did this and I did not get mum to help me I only got her to help to fit it all in. i think i should get this main star. I did not forget any think i put lots in go se my survive kit to see what I bought  and i bought more.Here is the link to the survival kit
